大島祥 Sho Oshima
東京都生まれ。昭和音楽大学卒業。
ギターを小暮浩史、森井英朗、熊谷俊之、益田正洋、福田進一の各氏に師事。(順不同)
2018年、高校卒業時に自身初のソロリサイタルを行い、好評を得る。
同年にHakuju Hallで行われた「新進芸術家ギタリストの響演」に出演。
2019年 六本木国際ギターコンクール第1位。
2021年にコロナ禍でオンラインや録画で行われたブリュッセル国際コンクール 撥弦楽器部門にて第2位 (ベルギー）やメルカリギターオーディションにて「エモーショナルアワード」を受賞。
インターネットラジオ「OTTAVA.TV」や音楽情報誌「ぶらあぼ」BRAVO Café で配信されている、ギターレッスン番組「福田進一 ザ・ギターレッスン」にレギュラー生徒として出演。
2024年よりノブロック弦エンドースメントアーティスト。
舞台で人を魅了する「コンサートプレイヤー」としての才能が高く評価されている。
ソロ活動に限らず、フルートやヴァイオリン、オーボエなどアンサンブルでの共演も多い。使用楽器はスペインの銘器イグナシオ・フレタ・イーホス 2004年製(バルセロナ)
2026年よりソロコンサートを銀座・王子ホールや東京オペラシティリサイタルホールなど、東京都内の主要ホールで開催予定。
Biography of Sho Oshima
Born in Tokyo, Sho Oshima graduated from Showa University of Music. He studied classical guitar under Hiroshi Kogure, Hideo Morii, Toshiyuki Kumagai, Masahiro Masuda, and Shin-ichi Fukuda.
In 2018, upon graduating from high school, he gave his first solo recital to critical acclaim. In the same year, he performed at the "Concert of Rising Classical Guitarists" (Shinshin Geijutsuka Guitarist no Kyoen) held at Hakuju Hall.
His notable achievements include:
- 2019: 1st Prize at the Roppongi International Guitar Competition.
- 2021: 2nd Prize in the Plucked String Instruments Division at the Brussels International Competition (Belgium), held online/via video submission due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
- 2021: "Emotional Award" at the Mercari Guitar Audition.
Oshima appeared as a regular student on the guitar lesson program "Shin-ichi Fukuda: The Guitar Lesson," broadcast on the internet radio station OTTAVA.TV and featured on BRAVO Café by the music magazine Bravo. In 2024, he became a Knobloch Strings Endorsement Artist.
Artistry & Collaboration
Highly acclaimed as a "concert player" with a natural gift for captivating audiences on stage, Oshima is active not only as a soloist but also as an avid chamber musician, frequently collaborating with flute, violin, oboe, and other instruments.
He performs on a 2004 Ignacio Fleta e Hijos (Barcelona), a masterpiece of Spanish guitar making.
Upcoming Activities
Starting in 2026, he is scheduled to hold solo concerts at major concert halls in Tokyo, including Oji Hall in Ginza and the Tokyo Opera City Recital Hall.
